The Library is HIRING

The Spring Valley Public Library is seeking applicants for a part-time library assistant. This person will be responsible for circulation, assisting patrons with materials, technology, shelving books, cleaning and other library tasks as needed.

Candidates should have strong computer skills, be detailed-oriented, be able to work cooperatively and independently, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Schedule will include one day a week, up to two Saturdays a month, two to three hours a week for cleaning when library is closed and additional hours when a sub is needed.
