§ 151.087 DUTY OF PROPERTY OWNERS TO CUT AND MAINTAIN.
Duty of Property Owners to Cut Grass and Weeds and Maintain Trees and Shrubs. It is unlawful for any owner, occupant or agent of any lot or parcel of land in the City to allow any weeds or grass to grow to a greater height than six (6) inches or to allow such weeds or grass to go to seed.
(If you receive a letter from the city regarding long grass and/or weeds, failure to comply will result in the city doing the work at a cost of $125.00 per hour with a minimum fee of $150.00 and assessing the cost to the property.)
Absolutely NO Mowing grass clippings into the street!
Grass from the street can get into the storm sewer and clog it. If the grass is not cleaned off the street, the city will come and clean it up and assess the cost to the adjacent property. This will be done without notice.
SECTION 7.07. OBSTRUCTIONS IN STREETS.
Subd. 3 Dumping in Streets. It is a misdemeanor for any person to throw or deposit in any street any leaves, grass or tree limbs.
